History of the club

Edinburgh Synchronised Swimming Club was founded in 1972.


Edinburgh Synchro is proud to be the first synchronised swimming club in Scotland to achieve ‘synchroMarkPlus’. This Scottish Swimming Accreditation Scheme recognises the important role clubs can play to increase participation and improve the quality of sporting opportunities for the benefit of the local community. Participation in this scheme has helped the club focus on and improve the experience we provide to the swimmers.
