On 14 May Scottish Synchro held its first Grade assessment day, as grades have now replaced skills. The grades are can be passed with bronze, silver or gold. Edinburgh had a successful day with six swimmers achieving Grade 1 Bronze, three Grade 2 Bronze and seven Grade 3 Bronze. Niamh Peakman took Grade 4, even though she has previously passed Skill 5, as part of her preparations for age group figure competitions, and achieved Silver.
